Type of property: House Reason of purchase: Primary Residence Location: Eastern Suburbs, Vaucluse Property journey: The Rosengartens were seeking a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment in the eastern suburbs with a good aspect. Given this was only a part time residence and they were permanently based in Melbourne we spent 48 hours in Sydney looking at properties - six of these were current stock, the other eleven were off market, ranging from Darling Point to Rose Bay. Type of property: House Reason of purchase: Primary residence Location: Marrickville Customer property journey: After 2.5 years of anguish and frustration, the client missed out on his dream home last year and countless other opportunities to secure a property. The market is moving up very fast so if we did not move swiftly we would have missed out – 2.5 years ago the clients budget was $750k. It was now $1M and still it was very hard to find all that he wanted within his budget. The initial discussion was that our fee to secure a property took away more money from his tight budget. Although my argument was that he should have engaged me years ago and it would have saved him $250k.. or alternatively if he waits another 2.5 years it may cost him another $250k on top of the last $250k.
