Potts Point forms the eastern shore of Woolloomooloo Bay in the city’s inner east slthough its waterfront is entirely naval property. Originally, it was developed in the early 1800s for free settlers.

Rushcutters Bay Park and Cricket Oval, The Phillip Cook pool and White City Tennis Club are in close proximity. A short drive away are the Cruising Yacht Club and 24 hour City Gym. The CBD is a pleasant 20 minute walk around Woolloomooloo Bay and through Hyde Park. There is Kings Cross Gym above the railway station, or try the new gym, Fitness First above Coles in the refurbished Kingsgate Building.
